Docker is showing that bare-metal can be sexy again.

Here is an article about Rackspace newest offering with bare-metal, that is mainly driven on the raise of Docker. It kind of shows that yes VMs are great, but they are not useful for everything, and it may explain why many companies are still holding on to their in-house hosted solutions. The problem we have had with VMs is that we treat it like a hammer and every problem is a nail. Now with Docker we can use other solutions and we can now use the right tool for the job.
